Han is an architect and researcher, based in the Netherlands and China.
She is fascinated by how place thinks through people, how landscape, ecology, and material accumulate into culture, body, and building tradition over generations. She designs as a form of inquiry, reading what a place holds beneath the visible and manifesting it in space. Her practice flows between making and drawing, building and researching, between the Yellow Sea and the North Sea.
She specialises in architecture, design research, set design, and art direction.
She trained at the University of Melbourne and TU Delft, where she graduated cum laude. Previously she worked at David Chipperfield Architects, Ney&Partners, and KRFT Architects.
